Infographic Resume
05May10
Lately I’am highly interested in infographic design work. I see lots of infographic posters and illustrations. And a few months ago I also saw some resume’s build up like an infographic. From that point on I always wanted to make one of those visual resume’s for myself. And I finally did it! Check it out and let me know what you think!

I like it! Can you share with me/us how you go about creating this? Like what software did you use?
I made a sketch beforehand, and after that made it in adobe illustrator.
Hello.
Thanks for sharing this resume. As a career counselor and educator I am interested in novel ways of presenting our work experiences and education. Have any employers seen this, and if so, what was their reaction?
Best,
Gibson
I haven’t send this out yet, as i’m currently not looking for a new job. Purely made it for fun
Thanks! I enjoyed seeing it.
Really cool diagram. my education is not nearly as mountainous yet.
Well Done. Seriously awesome stuff.
The next step is making it interactive!!
Great illustration work. But I have a question: what exactly those mountains indicate? Seems like your specialties grew up and then fell down again – it also can be interpreted as a growing and falling of interests/work/etc. It’s kinda dubious, is it your intention?
Anyway, it remembers me the visual resumé from Michael Anderson: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7855449@N02/3258568672/sizes/o/
Maybe the mountains are not that great of a metaphor. My specialties off course grew in time and don’t drop down again. Thnx for your comment.
I like it. Nice mellow colours. I tried a vertical timeline version and that was fun to do.
Hi, Thanks for sharing……I like this resume.
Adobe Illustrator? Very nicely done. I think I will try to make one of this. Thanks for the post.

The mountain range is not so clear.
Hi there! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard against hackers?
I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked
hard on. Any suggestions?
